I used to work at Carbon Sound & Picture in Toronto and they're a reseller of the camera... So I got to take it for a demo weekend to shoot the video and such. I loved it. It handled better than any of the current Sony and Panasonic line. The form factor and ease of use were amazing. Plus no transcoding to get it into FCP (or Premier). I was able to use it with interchangeable lenses, just the stock Fujinon 17x, which was a good piece of glass already.

Great camera though. I do wish that instead of the XDCam EX format it shot ProRes LT or ProRes... Just for personal comfort reason, not really anything to do with ease of use.

Hi Ben, How are you liking the 700? Have you tried to shot with any other lens? I'm giving this camera a lot of thought and was looking for some user feedback. The video looks great.
